The Coyotes have been running summer camps for 10+ years now. Our high performance camp allows players to "be a Coyote" for a week. The HP camp would provide very similar information and development activities that college programs across North America participate in. Also it's a great chance to interact with a college coaching staff and players.
Who are these Instructors?
Geoff White, Head Coach at Okanagan College and current San Diego Padres scout has been at the helm of the Coyotes program for 16 years. A local product that played college baseball at the University of Jamestown and then went on to player independent pro baseball. Coach White has been on the coaching staffs for Toronto Blue Jays Futures program 3x, which is the top tournament hosted at the Rogers Center in Toronto each fall. Also a member of multiple provincial programs, and head coach of the Kelowna Falcons twice, 2005 and 2013.
Evan Bailey, Head Coach of the Okanagan Athletics, Rutland Senior Secondary Academy and Vernon Baseball Academy. Coach Bailey was a standout high school player that landed him on the Junior National Team and drafted by the LA Angels. He then pursued baseball south of the border at El Pass Community College before transferring to PAC-12 University of Utah. Has been a coach at Toronto Blue Jays Futures program multiple times, has had multiple players drafted into the MLB with on making his Major League debut in 2022, Jared Young of the Chicago Cubs.
Jared Johnson, Player Development Coordinator and Pitching Coach for the Okanagan College Coyotes and Okanagan Athletics leads the charge. A former 2 x Miami Marlins Draft pick, Team Canada alum, former pitching coach of the Kelowna Falcons is a tremendous resource for players in the Okanagan Valley.
Jaden Parsons, recent graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma. Jaden was a standout college middle infielder that started his college career at Cloud County Community College in Kansas before transferring to UCO. Coach Parsons was a standout players in each year he played from high school to college completion, name to All conference teams and all region teams.
Summer camps are a great way to learn new skills, have fun playing games, and enjoying baseball.

8:40 - Warm up and stretch
8:50 - Agilities / Warm up game (Flip, pepper, 2 ball. etc)
9:30 - Throwing talk
9:45 - Throwing routine and drills
10:15 - Defensive work in positions
11:00 - Baserunning
11:30 - Lunch
12:00 - Hitting talk and overview
12:20 - Tee drills
12:45 - Live BP / front toss
1:30 - Wiffle ball game
2:15 - Clean up and review day
2:30 - Players head home
